We created Nesbitt, Vassar & McCown, L.L.P. to enhance the legal representation of our clients. Our ability to better serve our clients is twofold:
First, our cost structure is lower than at most larger firms because we have lower overhead. We have not immersed ourselves in fancy offices while handing out clients the rent bill. This allows us to provide premium legal services at competitive rates. We also have the flexibility in tailoring fee arrangements to suit specific cases.
Second, we personally provide the highest quality legal services to our clients, rather than delegating your case to one or more lawyers with whom you are unfamiliar. At our firm, the lawyer you hire is the primary lawyer working on your case.

The firm started in November, 2001, when Earl Nesbitt and David Vassar joined forces to better serve their clientele. On July 1, 2005, Jim McCown joined the firm, bringing more than a decade of experience representing commercial and media clients. From its inception, the firm has continued to provide quality representation with a respected reputation.

The three prinicipals of the firm, Earl Nesbitt, David Vassar, and Jim McCown each started the practice of law at large and highly-respected Texas law firms. They learned the law from first-rate lawyers and became skilled in handling lawsuits of all sizes and disciplines. They have successfully handled commercial litigation for a wide range of clients, from Fortune 100 companies and the biggest individual names in business to "mom and pop" operations in small Texas communities.
